The costs of 2,615 deaths due to depression are estimated at £562 million.  This equates to £215,000.00 per death in round figures [22].  The indirect costs of working life lost were estimated from sickness benefit claims and from the number of registered deaths from suicide or accidental poisoning of patients with depression.

Assuming one life is saved as a result of exposure to a Manage-Able™ course, the net return on investment is the significant sum of two hundred and thirteen thousand pounds (£213,000).
